Brand New St. Charles Parish Assisted Living Community is First to Offer Residential Alzheimer's & Dementia Care in the Area

Luling, St. Charles Parish, Louisiana

When the ribbon is cut at Ashton Manor Assisted Living & Memory Care, a brand new assisted living community, it will mark the official opening of the first-of-its-kind residential Alzheimer's and dementia care in the Luling area. Built from the ground up by Schonberg & Associates in partnership with St. Charles Parish Hospital, every detail of the new community is designed around the safety, comfort and peace-of-mind of residents and their loved ones.

Luling native David Schonberg, owner and managing partner of Schonberg & Associates, will be joined by Fred Martinez, CEO of St. Charles Parish Hospital, other hospital executives, government officials and members of the parish's Economic Development Council for the 4pm ribbon cutting.

Ashton Manor is located on six acres in St. Charles Parish's newest residential community, Ashton Plantation. It has 60 one-bedroom private suites with multiple floorplans, and is divided into three distinctive "neighborhoods" occupied by residents with shared abilities. One neighborhood is reserved exclusively for memory care. Ashton Manor's entire staff is specially trained in the care of those with Alzheimer's and dementia, and memory care programs designed to enrich each resident's life and enable them to function at the highest possible level are also offered.

Park Provence employs an experienced and caring team of experts that includes a memory care manager, an activities coordinator, and highly involved Executive Director Susan Pappalardo. Susan is thrilled to be an integral part of Schonberg & Associates’ new community, noting that “the overwhelming success of Schonberg’s other communities is a strong testament to David’s superior program model and expertise, and I am very excited to see Park Provence become a part of that. I look forward to helping this community reach even greater levels of excellence!”
